Anthony Roth Costanzo, Kirsten Scott, Elad Kabilio Headline Refractions of Pride Festival’s ‘MusicTalks Celebration of LGBTQ Composers’

Famed countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo will be joining forces with several other artists for “MusicTalks Celebration of LGBTQ Composers” as part of the Refractions of Pride Festival. The event will take place on June 26, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

The concert will feature music by such composers as Tchaikovsky, Bernstein, Ethel Smith, Britten, and Caroline Shaw. Other artists involved in the showcase include pianist Inon Barnatan, cellist Elad Kabilo and mezzo-soprano Kirsten Scott, the General Director of Bare Opera, among others.

All money raised through the donations for the event will benefit the Ali Forney Center in New York City.

Refractions of Pride Festival is a multidisciplinary festival that aims to provide numerous perspectives from throughout the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as to amplify the voice of people of color.
