Anousha Nazari to Headline ‘Concert Poétique’ as Part of Les Jeudis du Classique

Mezzo-soprano Anousha Nazari will perform a recital at the Salle Jacques Chirac on Feb. 13, 2025.

The concert, presented as part of the Les Jeudis du Classique, will feature Persian melodies of the 20th century. The Iranian mezzo will perform alongside Jeryan Ghiaee.

“This will be a poetic soirée, full of harmonious poetry and music, full of emotion and sharing,” Nazari said in an press release. “I will have the pleasure of being accompanied by my dear friend and talented pianist, Jeryan Ghiaee. I am excited to see you there for this occasion.”

Nazari was born in Sari, Iran and has enjoyed an international career, performing with ensembles in her native Iran as well as some of Europe’s major halls, including the Salle Cortot, École des Beaux-Arts de Paris, the Philharmonie am Gasteig, and Institut du monde arabe, among others.
