Mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter will perform as part of the Chamber Music at The Barns at Wolf Trap this October.

The famed mezzo will take on an all-Schubert program alongside pianist Kristian Bezuidenhout on Oct. 9, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. While Bezuidenhout will perform two piano sonatas and an Impromptu by the German composer, von Otter will take on the “Schwanengesang, D 957.”

Von Otter is also set to appear at The Frick Collection this fall.

The remaining performances in the program include a “Viola Celebration,” a 300th anniversary celebration with violinist Gil Shaham, as well as other showcases featuring the Imani Winds, Windfest, The Aznavoorian Sisters, Quintet Revelations, and other chamber performances.
