The Annapolis Opera has canceled its Insight Series event.

The company noted that “due to health and safety concerns, our Insight Series event, ‘The Journey of La Boheme,’ scheduled for Saturday, January 8th has been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please keep an eye out for information on our future Insight Series events.”

The event was a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming production of “La Bohème,” which is set to open Jan. 27 and 29, 2022. 

The production will star Andrew Adelsberger as Benoit and Alcindoro, Joshua Conyers as Schaunard, Nicholas Davis as Marcello, Dorothy Gal as Musetta, Kara Mulder Goodrich as Mimi, Rafael Moras as Rodolfo, and Nicholas Newton as Colline. Craig Kier is set to conduct the production by David Lefkowich.
