Annalisa Stroppa To Make Bayerische Staatsoper Debut Earlier

The Bayerische Staatsoper has announced several cast changes for its upcoming “Norma” performance on Jan. 5, 2019.

The company announced that Annalisa Stroppa will make her company debut as Adalgisa filling in for Angela Brower, who was originally scheduled.

It was also announced that Vlada Borovko will take on the role of Clotilde in all three January performances.

Stroppa was scheduled to make her company debut later this season in April 2019 in the role of Suzuki in “Madama Butterfly.” Borovko is slated to perform Mimì in “La Bohème” at the Staatsoper Stuttgart later this month.

Angela Brower returns for performances on Jan. 9 and 12, 2019.

Stroppa and Borvosko join Joseph Calleja and Carmen Giannattasio in “Norma” with Daniele Callegari conducting Jurgen Rose’s production.
