
Anna Pirozzi, Anthony León, Saimir Pirgu, Christiane Karg & Gabriella Reyes lead The Dallas Opera’s 2026-27 Season

Opera
Soraya Mafi, Anthony León, Alessandro Corbelli, and Mihai Damian open the season with Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore” with Guillermo García Calvo conducting a production by Stephen Lawless.
Performance Dates: Oct. 9-17, 2026
Mirjam Mesak, Zachary Nelson, Shannon Keegan, Andrew Harris, Lindsay Ammann, Brandon Cedel, and Kayla Nanto lead Janáček’s “The Cunning Little Vixen.” Emmanuel Villaume conducts Barrie Kosky’s production which will be revived by Catharina von Bülow.
Performance Dates: Oct. 30-Nov. 7, 2026
Anna Pirozzi, Jorge Puerta, Gabriella Reyes, and William Guanbo Su highlight Puccini’s “Turandot.” Emmanuel Villaume conducts the production by Francesca Zambello which will be revived by Anna Maria Bruzzese.
Performance Dates: Feb. 12-20, 2027
Saimir Pirgu lead Wagner’s “Lohengrin” with Kathleen O’Mara, Lise Lindstrom, Aleksey Bogdanov, Peixin Chen, and Szymon Mechlinski. Emmanuel Villaume conducts Louis Désiré’s production.

The Linda and Mitch Hart Institute for Women Conductors Showcase will be performed in Concert.

Christiane Karg and Andrew von Oeyen will perform the annual Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Family Recital

The Phyllis A. and Thomas H. McCasland, Jr. Lone Star Vocal Competition will be performed.
Performance Date: March 12, 2027
Family Productions
The Breman Town Musicians will perform music by J. Offenbach, G. Rossini, G. Donizetti, A. Sullivan, and G. Verdi with words and Story Adaptation by John Davies.
Performance Dates: Oct. 17, 2026 & Feb. 21, 2027
Portman’s “The Little Prince” will be performed.
