In an interview with Forum Opera the tenor was asked about whether or not he would be singing Siegfried. In his response, he said “Anna and I are planning to sing ‘Tristan und Isolde’ but not ‘Siegfried.’ This is not, for now, just a project … A huge project. We have the time.”

Eyvazov also noted that he wanted to sing a number of French roles including Don José in “Carmen” and the title role of “Werther” and that Netrebko and he were planning on performing together in a Russian opera very soon.
