Anna Netrebko & Yusif Eyvazov Postpone Helinski Concert

By Francisco Salazar

Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov’s Helinski concert has been postponed.

The concert, which was set to be performed on Oct. 19 at the Musiikkitalo in Helsinki, Finland, will be rescheduled for a new date that has yet to be confirmed.

The couple was set to present a program of opera arias, international art songs, Neapolitan song, and operetta. They were set to be accompanied on the piano by Pavel Nebolsin.

The postponement comes as Eyvazov will be in the midst of a run of performances of “Turandot” at the Metropolitan Opera while Netrebko is set to perform “Tosca” at the Bolshoi Theatre alongside Murat Karahan. The soprano is also scheduled to open the Teatro alla Scala in a new production of “Macbeth” and will make her role debut in a revival of “Nabucco” at the Wiener Staatsoper.

The couple is set to reunite in December for a concert in Prague.
