Anna Netrebko & Aigul Akhmetshina Lead Arena di Verona’s 2024 Season

The Arena di Verona has announced its 2024 season which will be dedicated to Puccini.

The season will open with Puccini’s “Turandot” in Franco Zeffirelli’s production.

Performance Dates: June 8-29, 2024

Verdi’s Aida will be revived in Stefano Poda’s production.

Performance Dates: June 14- August 1, 2024

Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” will be revived in Hugo de Ana’s staging.

Performance Dates: June 21- Sept. 6, 2024

Bizet’s “Carmen” will be performed in Franco Zeffirelli’s production. Aigul Akhmetshina makes her company debut in the title role.

Performance Dates: July 5- Sept. 7, 2024

Puccini’s “La Bohème” will be performed in a special presentation.

Performance Dates: July 19 & 27, 2024

Roberto Bolle and Friends will be presented.

Performance Dates: July 23 & 24 2024

Anna Netrebko stars in Puccini’s Tosca in Hugo de Ana’s production. She will be joined by Luca Salsi as Scarpia and Yusif Eyvazov as Cavaradossi.

Performance Dates: August 2-30, 2024

Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 will be performed.

Performance Date: August 11, 2024

Verdi’s “Aida” will be revived in the 1913 recreation directed by Gianfranco de Bosio.

Performance Dates: August 10-Sept. 5, 2024

Plácido Domingo will sing a “Noche Española.”

Performance Date: August 21, 2024

“Carmina Burana” will be performed.

Performance Date: Sept. 21, 2024
