The Wiener Konzerthaus has announced its 2026-27 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

VOCES8 leads a program of music by William Byrd, Virgil Thomson, Caroline Shaw, Morten Lauridsen, William Billings, Bobby McFerrin, Eric Whitacre, Taylor Scott Davis, Samuel Barber, Richard Rodgers, and Billy Strayhorn.

The Mahler Academy Orchestra will be joined by Fleur Barron and Philipp von Steinaecker in music by Mahler.

Performance Date: Sept. 17, 2026


Piotr Beczała joins Marco Boemi and the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien in works by Wagner, Giordano and Puccini.

Katharina Rothen, Franziska Lermer, and David Kropfreiter lead a program of music by Robert Schumann, Franz Lehár, Richard Strauss, Dmitri Schostakowitsch and Sergej Prokofjew.

The Musicbanda Franui will be joined by Anja Mittermüller, Julian Prégardien, and Florian Boesch for a Schubert program.

Christian Gerhaher and Gerold Huber take on the music of Schumann.

Ton Koopman conducts the Wiener Symphoniker in Mozart’s “Requiem” with Julia Lezhneva, Maarten Engeltjes, Julian Prégardien, and Krešimir Stražanac. The concert also includes music by Haydn.

Julian Prégardien and Feride Büyükdenktaş join Saskia Giorgini in a program of Schubert.

The Pygmalion under Raphaël Pichon will perform Mozart “Messe” and Schubert’s “Stabat Mater.” The concert will include soloists Lea Desandre, Kieran Carrel, and Huw Montague Rendall.

The King’s Singers take on works by John Rutter, Thomas Weelkes, Robert Parsons, Ludwig Senfl, Hildegard von Bingen, Sir James MacMillan, Luciano Berio, Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, Makiko Kinoshita, Tōru Takemitsu, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Maurice Ravel, and Paul Patterson.

Anna Netrebko performs Bartók’s “Bluebeard’s Castle” alongside Alexander Köpeczi and Henrik Nánási and Hungarian Rundfunk-SinfonieorchesterOrchester. Misi Boros is the pianist in Liszt’s Piano concerto No. 1.

The Constellation Choir & Ensemble under Sir John Eliot Gardiner will lead works by Giovanni Pierluigi Palestrina, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Lajos Bárdos, Giovanni Bassano, Herbert Howells, William Byrd, Johann Gottfried Walther, Robert Armstrong, John Gardner, and Thomas Weelkes.

The Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia will perform with Rachel Willis-Sørensen and Daniel Harding in a program of Mahler and Brahms.
