Anna H. Wang Concert Series to Present ‘Morris & Friends: An Evening of Opera & Gospel’

The Anna H. Wang Concert Series is set to present “Morris & Friends: An Evening of Opera & Gospel.”

The showcase will be headlined by bass Morris Robinson, who is joined by such artists as soprano Brandie Sutton, soprano Michelle Bradley, tenor Aaron Crouch, countertenor John Holiday, and conductor Brandon Waddles. Also on the program is Patrick Lundry & The Minister of Music.

The program is scheduled for Feb. 3, 2024 and is presented alongside two public events. First up will be a public forum on Jan. 31 in partnership with the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts, featuring Robinson and Sutton. Then come two free masterclasses with Robison and Sutton on Feb. 1 and Feb. 2 at Howard University and Washington Adventist University, respectively.

Created in 2017, the Anna H. Wang Concert Series aims to commemorate the life of Anna Wang, who devoted her life to service, both in nursing and health care administration.
