Anna Gregg Wins Deborah Voigt Prize

Soprano Anna Gregg has won the Deborah Voigt Prize at the 13th Glenarm Festival of Voice.

With the prize, Gregg will become the  NI Opera Young Opera Voice of 2023.

Gregg has worked with Opera Collective Ireland and Sestina Music. She has also performed with the Wexford Festival Opera, the Longborough Festival Opera, and Random Opera. Other winners included Cathal McCabe who took home the Song Prize and Anna-Helena Maclachlan, who won the Kathryn Harries Audience Prize.

The winners were chosen from finalists that also included Petra Wells and Ryan Garnham, and Doireann O’Carroll as the piano interim. Pianist Tristan Russcher accompanied the finalists.
