Anna Bonitatibus Named Honorary President of the Fondazione Pietà de’ Turchini

Mezzo Anna Bonitatibus has been named Honorary President of the Fondazione Pietà de’ Turchini—Centro di produzione musicale, ricerca, editoria, alta formazione, per la valorizzazione della Scuola Musicale Napoletana.

The private foundation, legally recognized under the name Pietà de’ Turchini since 2010, originates from the musical association established in 1984 under the name Cappella della Pietà de’ Turchini – Centro di Musica Antica, which later became the Centro di Musica Antica Pietà de’ Turchini in 1997.

The Italian mezzo, considered the Anti-Diva, has performed at the Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House, Teatro San Carlo, Opera di Roma, Bayerische Staatsoper, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Opéra comique in Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, La Monnaie, and the Wiener Staatsoper, among others. She will well-known for her work in Bel Canto and baroque and has performed more than 70 roles.
