Featuring Kareem Roustom’s “Rage Against the tyrant(s)” and Eric Banks’ “Aluta Continua: The Passion of David Kato Kisule,” this album brings together protest chants, poetry, and sacred texts.

Manuel Blancafort Complete Songs, Vol. 2

Naxos releases Manuel Blancafort’s Cançons in an album which features Catalan mezzo-soprano Anna Alas i Jové alongside pianist Miquel Villalba. The album features the world premiere recording of Cançons per a infants.

Brahms and Wolf: Lieder

Baritone Florian Boesch and pianist Malcolm Martineau continue their collaboration on Linn with a recital pairing two composers, Johannes Brahms and Hugo Wolf.

Händel: Italian Cantatas & Arias

CPO releases an album featuring Amanda Forsythe and Cristiano Contadin performing cantatas for women’s voices. The album closes with three arias from Handel’s first large-scale work for Italy, the oratorio “Il trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno.”
