Anja Harteros Postpones Recital in Zurich

By Francisco Salazar

Soprano Anja Harteros has postponed her upcoming recital at the Opernhaus Zürich.

The company noted that “Anja Harteros and her pianist Wolfram Rieger have decided to postpone their recital of Feb. 9, 2022 to a later season due to the current uncertain situation.”

As a result, tickets already purchased will be refunded.

Harteros recently canceled her participation in the Berlin State Opera’s “Tosca” and is set to return to the stage at the end of February for “Tosca” at the Bayerische Staatsoper. She is also set to sing the role of Kundry in “Parsifal” at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Bayerische Staatsoper. She returns to Zurich in May for Arabella.

The Opernhaus Zürich is currently presenting productions of “Don Giovanni” and “Cavalleria Rusticana/Pagliacci.”
