Angels Vocal Art to Present ‘Tosca’
By David SalazarOn July 8, Angels Vocal Art (AVA) is set to present a Gala Performance of Puccini’s “Tosca” at the Manoukian Performing Arts Center in Pasadena, California.
AVA Artistic Director Kristof Van Grysperre will conduct with Diana Wyenn directing a production that features projections by Aaron Ball.
The opera will star Jessica Sandidge as Floria Tosca and Todd Wilander as Mario Cavaradossi. They will be joined by Roberto Perlas Gomez in the role of Baron Scarpia, Sejin Park as the Sacristan, Jacob Bowman as Angelotti, and Jeff Wang as Spoletta.
There will be a reception following the performance.
Angels Vocal Art, led by Artistic Director Kristof Van Grysperre, nurtures emerging opera talent and stages fully produced operas with professional orchestras. Among the company’s major productions are Puccini’s “Il Trittico,” concerts at Carnegie Hall, and unique summer opera performances in LA County.
