The Celebrity Series of Boston has announced its 2019-20, the 81^st for the organization. There is a wide range of performances that will take place throughout the season, but as always, our focus will be on vocal and operatic performances.

Soprano Ying Fang will make her Boston Debut as part of the Debut Series. She will perform at Longy’s Pickman Hall in a performance sponsored by Harriet & David Griesinger and the Longy School of Music of Bard College.

Performance Date: Feb. 12, 2020

Bass-baritone Davóne Tines will also make his Celebrity Series debut alongside pianist Adam Nielsen. The performance will include music by Brahms, Schubert, Julius Eastman, and Caroline Shaw.

Performance Date: April 1, 2020 

Soprano Angela Gheorghiu will make her Boston debut with pianist Alexandra Dariescu in a performance the New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall.

Performance Date: April 17, 2020

Soprano Renée Fleming will appear alongside famed pianist Evgeny Kissin in a performance at Symphony Hall.
