L’Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège in Belgium ill stream two operas on the MEZZO TV throughout January and February.

First up will be the production of Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito” starring Patrizia Ciofi in the role of Vitellia, Anna Bonitatibus as Sesto, Veronica Cangemi as Servilia, Cecilia Molinari in the role of Annio, and Markus Suihkonen as Publio. Thomas Rösner conducts the production by Julien Lubek.

The opera was filmed at L’Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège on May 15, 2019.

Puccini’s “La Bohème” follows. The opera stars Angela Gheorghiu as Mimì, Stefan Pop as Rodolfo, Ionut Pascu as Marcello, Ugo Guagliardo in the role of Colline, Kamil Ben Hsain Lachiri as Schaunard, María Rey-Joly in the role of Musetta, and Patrick Delcour as Benoît/Alcindoro. Frédéric Chaslin conducts the production by Stefano Mazzonis Di Pralafera.

The opera was filmed on September 26, 2020.
