Angel Blue is set to present an online recital from the Japanese Embassy in Washington D.C. on Nov. 30.

The recital, entitled “Too Early Christmas Music Evening,” will be presented live on Facebook at 7 p.m. EST and will feature pianist Bryan Wagorn.

The performance will be given for the Ambassador of Japan with a very small and socially distanced in-person audience.

Blue is set to appear in the Metropolitan Opera’s New Year’s Eve recital from Germany and is currently presenting a series on Dallas Opera’s TDO Network entitled “The Journey.” The soprano is scheduled to perform at the Santa Fe Opera this summer and will open the Metropolitan Opera’s 2021-22 season in the company premiere of “Fire Shut Up in My Bones.” She is also set to revive the role of Bess in the Met’s “Porgy and Bess.”
