Angel Blue, Javier Camarena, Matthew Polenzani, and Pretty Yende will celebrate the New Year with the Metropolitan Opera’s “Met Stars Live in Concert” series on Dec. 31, 2020.

The performance, which will begin at 9:00 p.m. GMT, will feature the superstars live from Parktheater, a stunning example of neo-Baroque architecture situated in Augsburg, Germany.

The program will include arias, duets, and ensembles from Donizetti’s “La fille du régiment” to Puccini’s “La bohème” and “La Rondine,” as well as arrangements of operetta and Neapolitan songs.

The showcase will be streamed live via the Met website and will then be available on-demand for 14 days.

The New Year’s Eve gala will be followed by Sondra Radvanovsky and Piotr Beczała on Jan. 23, Anna Netrebko on Feb. 6, Sonya Yoncheva on Feb. 27, and Angel Blue.
