Andriana Chuchman & Vanessa Becerra Lead Opera Omaha’s 2023-24 Season

Opera Omaha has announced its 2023-24 season.

The season opens with Jorell Williams in the title role of Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” alongside Vanessa Becerra, Luis Alejandro Orozco, and Taylor Stayton. Gary Thor Wedow conducts the production by Octavio Cardenas.

Performance Dates: Oct. 27 & 29, 2023

Andriana Chuchman, Brian Vu, and Hyung Yun lead Verdi’s “La Traviata.” Steven White conducts the production by E. Loren Meeker.

Performance Dates: Feb. 16 & 18, 2024

Gabriela Lena Frank and Nilo Cruz’s “El último sueño de Frida y Diego” will star Stephanie Sanchez as Frida Kahlo and Levi Hernandez as Diego Rivera. The production will star Laura León and César Aguilar. Lorena Maza directs.

Performance Dates: May 3 & 5, 2024
