Ana María Martinez, Erica Petrocelli, James Conlon Headline LAO At Home For Week of June 22

The Los Angeles Opera has announced its schedule for LAO at Home streaming for the week of June 22.

It all kicks off with a living room recital featuring soprano Erica Petrocelli and pianist Louis Lohraseb. They will perform Schumann’s “Frauenliebe und Leben” and Debussy’s “Cinq Poèmes de Baudelaire.”

Streaming Date: June 22, 2020 at 4 p.m. PDT

Jeremy Frank will lead Opera’s Happy Hour, exploring Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci” as part of “Verismo Opera and Reality TV.”

Streaming Date: June 23, 2020 at 5 p.m. PDT

Soprano Ana María Martinez will lead another living room recital with pianist Craig Terry. The focus of their program will include Spanish songs as well as the “Song to the Moon” from “Rusalka.”

Streaming Date: June 24, 2020 at 4 p.m. PDT

LA Opera Music Director James Conlon will host “Coffee with Conlon,” taking questions submitted online from opera lovers.

Streaming Date: June 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. PDT

The week will end with the “Great Opera Choruses” concert featuring the LA Opera Chorus under the musical direction of resident conductor Grant Gershon and assistant chorus master Jeremy Frank.
