Americas Society Unveils Online Concerts Featuring Meridionalis and Nell Snadas

The Americas Society has announced its streaming slate for this week, which includes two notable vocal performances.

On Friday May 15, 2020, audiences can check out baroque artists Nell Snadas in performance with guitarst Jon Wassterman. Snadas is the co-curator of Americas Society’s early music series GEMAS and performs with the ensemble Meridonalis.

The concert kicks off at 10 a.m and can be watched on the company’s Music of the Americas pageInstagramFacebookYouTube, and Twitter.

On Saturday, May 16, starting at 7:30 p.m., Meridionalis, the Americas Society’s vocal ensemble will perform. The program revisits the ensemble’s most recent performance from December 2019. It includes a Palestrina Mass, guitar music, and several other works. The performance can be viewed on the company’s Music of the Americas pageInstagramFacebookYouTube, and Twitter.

Throughout the week there will also be performances by guitarist Eloy Cruz and harpist Edward Ramírez.
