The LA Opera has announced its streaming schedule for the week of May 26-29.

It all kicks off on Tuesday, May 26 with Opera Family time. This week, the organization will showcase highlights from past performances. It starts at 2 p.m. PDT.

Then on Wednesday, May 27 at 4 p.m. PDT, audiences will be invited to experience a living room recital with baritone Alexander Birch Elliott, who will perform opera selections, musical theater, and music from the Great American Songbook.

On Thursday, May 28, 2020, viewers will be invited backstage starting at 4 p.m. PDT. They will get a chance to engage with four members of the LA Opera Orchestra, including Roberto Cani, John Walz, Steven Becknell, and Hana Kim. The quartet has prepared a special treat for audiences.

The week draws to a close with another Living Room Recital on May 29 at 4 p.m. PDT. This time, soprano Amanda Woodbury will perform opera, operetta, art songs, and standards alongside pianist Aurelia Andrews.
