Amanda Majeski Headlines National Student Opera Society’s New ‘Opera Insights’ Online Series

The National Student Opera Society is set to launch a new online series starting on Monday, April 27, 2020.

The series, known as “Opera Insights” will feature several Zoom meetings with major industry figures; these meetings will take on a Q & A format in which participants will discuss how the lockdown affects the industry and what opera lovers can expect moving forward.

The series’ opening episode will feature director Martin Constantine. On May 5, 2020, audiences can chat with soprano Amanda Majeski followed by conductor Mark Wigglesworth on May 11.

The National Student Opera Society is a group of 500 young opera-lovers that aims to change the face of opera by forming networks, sharing resources, and holding events to broaden the artform’s appeal worldwide. The National Student Opera Society has partnerships with Opera Holland Park, English Touring Opera, Opera for Peace, and Waterperry Opera Festival, among others.
