Alexandre Bloch Joins Arabella Arts for General Management

Conductor Alexandre Bloch has joined Arabella Arts for General Management.

The French conductor is a 2012 first-prize winner of the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition and has since had a close collaboration with the London Symphony.

He has been guest conductor of such orchestras as Rotterdam Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic, Dresden Philharmonic, Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Oslo Philharmonic, and Luxembourg Philharmonic, among others.

As an opera conductor Bloch has appeared at the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf), Deutsche Oper Berlin, Opéra de Lille, and Opéra de Lyon. Bloch has been Music Director of the Orchestre National de Lille since 2016 and is the former Principal Guest Conductor of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker.
