Alexandra Nowakowski, Joseph Parrish, Meghan Kasanders Headline Carnegie Hall Citywide’s 2023-24 Slate

Carnegie Hall Citywide has unveiled its 2023-24 series of free performances across New York City.

Here is a rundown of the classical vocal performances on offer.

First up is “Mother, let me live!’ starring soprano Alexandra Nowakowski and pianist Michał Biel. The duet will present a program of works by Massenet, Szymanowski, Toldrá, Falla, Obradors, Dvorak, Debussy, and Granados.

Performance Date: Jan. 12, 2024 (St. Paul and St. Andrew UMC)

Bass-baritone Joseph Parrish joins forces with pianist Shawn Chang for a concert of music by Schubert, Burleigh, Chang, Debussy, Porter, Liszt, Mahler, Duparc, Loewe, Coltrane, Kern, and Guettel.

Performance Date: Feb. 25, 2024 (St. Paul and St. Andrew UMC)

Soprano Meghan Kasanders and pianist Dror Baitel perform works by Berg, Rachmaninoff, and Richard Pearson Thomas.

Performance Date: March 8, 2024 (St. Paul and St. Andrew UMC)
