Alexandra Lowe & Alessandro Fisher Headline The Mozartists’ ‘1775 – A Retrospective’
By David SalazarThe Mozartists will present “1775 – A Retrospective” at Cadogan Hall on Jan. 29, 2025.
The showcase will feature a scene from Georg Anton Benda’s “Medea” as well as arias by Mozart including ““Si mostra la sorte”, K.209; “Con ossequio, con rispetto”, K.210; and “Voi avete un cor fedele”, K.217. There will be an aria from “La Danza” by Hasse,” an aria from Haydn’s “Il ritorno di Tobia,” and symphonies by Haydn and Ordonez.
Soloists for the concert include soprano Alexandro Lowe and the tenor Alessandro Fisher.
Next up for the ensemble is a performance of “La Finta Giardiniera” in March at Cadogan Hall.
