
Ainhoa Arteta to Participate in Spain’s ‘Masterchef’
By Francisco SalazarSoprano Ainhoa Arteta is set to appear on “Masterchef” in Spain as one of the contestants.
The new season, which begins on Sept. 15 on Televisión Española, will showcase the soprano paying homage to her mother, an renowned cook. Other participants will Florentino Fernández, Juan José Ballesta, La Terremoto de Alcorcón, Pedro Delgado, Celia Villalobos, and Raquel Sánchez Silva, among others.
This is the latest reality show that Arteta participates in. Previously, the soprano was a jury member on the show “Prodigos” for TVE.
Arteta returns to the stage to open the Teatro de la Zarzuela’s 2020-21 season in “La Vida Breve” and is also set to appear in Oviedo, Valencia, Sevilla, and Bilbao. She is scheduled to perform in productions of “Madama Butterfly,” “Tosca,” “Manon Lescaut.”
