By Francisco Salazar

Soprano Ailyn Pérez is set to make her Mexican debut on Feb. 18, 2024, with an homage to Puccini.

The soprano is set to perform music from “La Bohème,” “Madama Butterfly,” and “Manon Lescaut,”  among others. She will be joined by Abdiel Vázquez conducting “La Super.”

The concert will be held at the Auditorio San Pedro and will also include special guests from the México Ópera Studio.

Pérez is Mexican-American who recently made history performing the first Latin American opera at the Metropolitan Opera. She is set to perform “Madama Butterfly” at the Houston Grand Opera later this month.
