Ailyn Pérez Headlines ‘A Night at the Opera’ From Portugal

On Jan. 15 the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Portugal will present “A Night at the Opera.”

The concert, which was performed for a live audience before the Portuguese government’s new lockdown due to COVID-19, will be streamed on YouTube.

Ailyn Pérez headlines the concert which also includes performances by Joshua Guerrero, Margarita Gritskova, and Roman Burdenko. Lorenzo Viotti conducts the Gulbenkian Orchestra.

The program will feature music from “Carmen,” “Cavalleria Rusticana,” “Tosca,” “Andrea Chénier,” “Eugene Onegin,” “The Maid of Orleans,” “Iolanta” and “Candide.” The program also includes music by Rachmaninov and Agustín Lara.

Audiences can watch the concert at 2 p.m. ET and 7 P.M CET.
