Agnieszka Jadwiga Grochala Headlines Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s ‘Schubertiade’

On Oct. 23, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma in Italy will perform a concert entitled “Schubertiade.”

The showcase, which will be dedicated to composer Franz Schubert, will be conducted by Roberto Gabbiani and will include Agnieszka Jadwiga Grochala performing “Mirjam’s Siegesgesang.” The concert will also see chorus members Marika Spadafino, Emanuela Luchetti, Maurizio Scavone, and Alessandro Fabbri perform “Gebet.” Other pieces that are set to be performed include “An die Sonne,” “Gesang der Geister über den Wassern,” Ständchen,” and “Deutsche Tänze.”

During the concert concert will be performing in the pit with the chorus on stage and the audience seated in the balcony. These measures will be implemented in order to ensure proper social distance and protect all participants and audience members from the potential spread of COVID-19.

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. local time.
