Adrienne Danrich & Liora Michelle To Star in Harlem Stage’s ‘The DIVA’

Harlem Stage is set to showcase “The DIVA (Divine Immigrant Voices about America)” on Jan. 10, 2020.

The performance, which will feature sopranos Adrienne Danrich and Liora Michelle, alongside other special guests, will signal the premiere of the Immigrant Song Series, which focuses on diversity in America’s origins. The concert will be co-produced by Katie McGrath, Chet Whye, Jr. and Musa Jackson.

Danrich is a singer, writer, composer, and educator who has been featured at such companies as the Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center Theater, San Francisco Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Michelle started her career in Australia as a principal soprano for the Melbourne City Opera. She now resides in the U.S. where she has performed lead roles in such operas as “Il Trovatore,” “Pagliacci,” “Otello,” “La Traviata,” and “Norman,” among others.
