Adriana González, Christopher Lowrey, Jodie Devos, Alix Le Saux, Olga Kulchynska Headline Opéra de Lausanne 2024-25 Season

The Opéra de Lausanne has announced its 2024 season.

First up is “Guillaume Tell.” The production will star Jean-Sébastien Bou, Olga Kulchynska, Julien Dran, Elisabeth Boudreault, Frédéric Caton, and Géraldine Chauvet. Bruno Ravella directs and Francesco Lanzillotta conducts.

Performance Dates: Oct. 6-15, 2024

Emiliano Gonzalez Toro leads a concert performance of “La Liberazione di Ruggiero dall’Isolea d’Alcina.” The opera stars Alix Le Saux, Emiliano Gonzalez Toro, Lorrie Garcia, Juan Sancho, and Nathalie Perez.

Performance Dates: Oct. 20, 2024

Next up is the final of the Kattenburg Competition.

Denis Podalydès directs “Fortunio.” Marc Leroy-Calatayud conducts a cast starring Marc Barrard, Sandrine Buendia, Pierre Derhet, Christophe Gay, and Philippe-Nicolas Martin.

Performance Dates: Nov. 17-24, 2024

Sabine Devieilhe and Mathieu Pordoy present a recital.

Performance Dates: Nov. 26, 2024

Laurent Pelly directs “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Guillaume Tourniaire conducts a cast starring Christopher Lowrey, Marie-Eve Munger, Michael Porter, James Newby, Aoife Miskelly, David Ireland, and Charlotte Dumartheray.

Performance Dates: Dec. 22-31, 2024

“Petite Balade aux Enfers” will feature Herline Van de Straete, Caroline Guentensperger, and Sophia Ianni. Valérie Lesort directs.

Performance Dates: Jan. 24 – 29, 2025

Paolo Fanale, Jodie Devos, Athansia Zöhrer, Sonja Runje, Lauranne Oliva, and Remy Burnens star in “Mitridate.” Andrea Spering conducts a production by Emmanuelle Bastet.

Performance Dates:  Feb. 23 – March 2, 2025

“Don Pasquale” stars Omar Montanari, Angelica Disanto, Joel Prieto, and Dario Solari. Tim Sheader directs and Giuseppe Grazioli conducts.

Performance Dates: April 6 – 13, 2025

Raphaël Pichon leads Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” with a cast starring Julian Prégardien, Huw Montague Rendall, Christian Immler, Ying Fang, Lucile eRichardot, and Laurence Kilsby.

Performance Dates: April 21, 2025

Antoinette Dennefeld, Adriana González, Edgaras Montvidas, and Philippe Sly headline “Carmen.” Jean-Marie Zeitouni conducts and Jean-François Sivadier direts.

Performance Dates: May 16-27, 2025

Closing out the season is “Le Docteur Miracle.” Pierre Lebon directs.
