The Adelaide Festival has announced its 2025 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

Kaija Saariaho’s “Innocence” is set to make its Australian debut conducted by Clément Mao-Takacs and directed by Simon Stone.

Performance Dates: Feb. 28-March 5, 2025

Jess Hitchcock & Penny Quartet perform 11 Australian composers, each commissioned to take one of Hitchcock’s songs and arrange it for voice and string quartet.

Performance Date: March 1, 2025

Claire de Sévigné joins Lloyd Van’t Hoff, and Michael Ierace for a program of Mozart, Debussy, Schubert, Handel, Lehár, and Lerner & Loewe. 

Performance Date: March 3, 2025

Jenny Carlstedt and Michael Ierace perform Debussy, Rangström, Williams, Rautavaara, Purcell, Sibelius, Gluck, and Merikanto. 

Performance Date: March 6, 2025

German baritone Mathias Goerne and Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov perform Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin.

Performance Date: March 16, 2025
