Academy of Vocal Arts Announces 2022 ‘Jubilate!’ Concert

The Academy of Vocal Arts has announced its annual “Jubilate! A Concert of Sacred Music,” which will take place on March 19 and 20, 2022.

The performance will feature sacred music by Händel, Mozart, Rossini, and Puccini as performed by the Academy of Vocal Arts’ Resident Artists under Master Vocal Coach David Antony Lofton; Lofton will lead the AVA Opera Orchestra.

The March 19 showcase is set for The Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr while the latter performance will take place at The Church of the Holy Trinity in Rittenhouse.

Past iterations of the “Jubilate!” concert have featured such artists as soprano Aubry Ballarò, baritone Daniel Gallegos, mezzo-soprano Chelsea Laggan, mezzo-soprano Pascale Spinney, bass Griffen Hogan Tracey, baritone Titus Muzi, bass Eric Delagrange, tenor Sahel Salam, soprano Yihan Duan, tenor Abraham Bretón, bass Brent Michael Smith, tenor Zachary Riou, mezzo-soprano Alice Chung, tenor Oliver Sewell, soprano Rebecca Gulinello, mezzo-soprano Anne Mari Stanley, and soprano Renée Richardson.
