The Academy of Ancient Music has announced that it has experienced an uptick in digital audiences over the last several months.

Per a press release, the company has increased its digital audience by 570 percent during the lockdown. It has seen an 85 percent increase in its YouTube subscribers with one-third of those audience members under age 34.

The company is crediting much of that success to its “Streaming Sundays” series, which it launched back in March. The series provides free full-length HD concerts each Sunday afternoon.

The last episode of this series will take place on Sunday, June 7 at 3 p.m. BST.

Additionally, the company has seen an increase in its Apple and Spotify subscribers.

The Academy of Ancient Music is set to promote weekly concerts through specially curated Spotify lists that delve into the organization’s rich history.
