Academia Filarmonica Romana to Present Giuseppe Sinopoli Lirica per Soprano

The Academia Filarmonica Romana is set to stream Giuseppe Sinopoli’s Lirica per Soprano e pianoforte.

The work which Sinopoli composed at the age of 18 will be streamed on April 29 and will feature soprano Sabrina Cortese and pianist Erik Bertsch.

Interspersed with the performance will be a dialogue between Andrea Lucchesini, Matteo D’Amico, and Sandro Cappelletto who will talk about the importance of Sala Casella, Teatro Argentina, and the Teatro Olimpico in the last year.

Il Duo Essentia featuring Alice Cortegiani and Samuele Telari fisarmonica will also perform works by Lutosławski, Beethoven, Simone Cardini, Domenico, and Bach.

The stream will be available for free on YouTube and are made possible by the Accademia Filarmonica Romana.
