ABAO Bilbao Opera has announced its participation in the fourth edition of Laborlan as a demonstration of its service to the public.

The program promoted by DEMA, the Regional Employment and Entrepreneurship Agency, provides personalized guidance and training. For the first time, it will offer specialized training in stage and stage technique for cultural and creative industries.

Funded by the Department of Employment, Social Inclusion and Equality of the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, the program provides specialized training within a number of sectors. It encourages employment contracts that favor a first approach to companies and facilitates subsequent contracting.

The mixed training and employment model will take place in two phases: the first is 225 hours of training, and the second half corresponds with professional experience consisting of three months of employment at companies located in Bizkaia.

The program is capped at 18 participants, and the application deadline is March 20, 2023.
