Aaron Blake, Colleen Daly Headline Tulsa Opera’s ‘Staying Alive’ Series

Tulsa Opera has unveiled its streaming program for the week starting on June 8, 2020.

It all kicks off with tenor Aaron Blake performing as part of the “Staying Alive” series. He will showcase Rachmaninoff’s “Spring Waters.” Blake will be accompanied by pianist Lydon Meyer.

Streaming Date: June 8, 2020 at 2 p.m. CT 

Soprano Colleen Daly will continue the “Staying Alive” series with a performance of the “Alleluia” from Mozart’s “Exsultate, Jubilate.” Daly recently performed the role of Micaëla in “Carmen” with the Tulsa Opera. She will be accompanied by pianist Sophia Kim Cook.

Streaming Date: June 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. CT

Baritone Weston Hurt will perform the “Te Deum” from Puccini’s “Tosca.” He will be accompanied by Lyndon Meyer. Hurt recently appeared in the role of Scarpia for his company debut with Tulsa Opera.
