
Renée Fleming Brings ‘Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene’ to Louisville Orchestra
By David SalazarRenée Fleming is taking her famed program “Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene” to Louisville, Kentucky.
The performance, set for April 16, 2025, will feature the soprano alongside the Louisville Orchestra and Music Director Teddy Abrams at Whitney Hall. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
The program is inspired by Fleming’s GRAMMY Awarding-winning title of the same name, which she recorded alongside Yannick Nézet-Séguin. She has already taken the program to the Celebrity Series of Boston and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
The Lyric Opera of Chicago recently announced that it would be presenting the program as well as part of its 2025-26 season.
