Maria Brea, Eugenia Forteza, Wagner Pástor, & Antonio Azpiri in Westminster Faculty Recital Series ‘Ritmos y Raíces: Celebrating Latin American Music’

Westminster has announced its Faculty Recital Series “Ritmos y Raíces: Celebrating Latin American Music.”

This program features works by contemporary composers Guido López Gavillán, Miguel Astor, Darwin Aquino, Johanny Navarro, and Ernesto Cordero, along with songs from Brazil, Haiti, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru.

Performers include sopranos Maria Brea and Andrea Salazar; mezzo-sopranos Melisa Bonetti and Eugenia Forteza, along with tenors Wagner Pástor and Christopher Sierra; and baritones Antonio Azpiri and Jean Bernard Cerin. They are accompanied by Martin Néron at the piano.

The concert is held in Gill Chapel, at Rider University on Oct. 13.
