The PROTOTYPE: OPERA / THEATRE / NOW has announced updates for its 2024 festival.

First up, the company revealed the featured performers.

Heather Christian, Terry Dame, Viva DeConcini, Melanie Hsu, Mona Seyed-Bolorforosh, Maya Sharpe, with Rima Fand, Jessica Lurie, Divya Maus, Kait Wamer, joined by Raquel Cion, Marisa Clementi, Ciera Cope, Nadine Daniels, Sandra Gamer, Audrey Hayes, Mercedes Hesselroth, Frances Higgins, Davina Honeghan, Beau Kadir, Rachel Karp, Sarah Lefebvre, Aris Louis, Teri Madonna, Grenetta Mason, Mickaila Perry, Eleanor Philips, Avery Richards, Kayleigh Rozwat, Amy Santos, Kayla Sklar, Sharyn Thomas, Shelley Thomas, Vanessa Truell, Grace Tyson, Madrid Vinarski, Jessie Winograd, and Allison Zhao will perform in “Terce: A Practical Breviary.”

For “Angel Island,” there will be featured performances by the Choir of Trinity Wall Street and the Del Sol String Quartet.

Yuliia Alieksieieva, Zoltan Almashi, Yevhen Bal, Ihor Boichuk, Kateryna Hordiienko, Ievgen Malofeiev, Mariia Potapenko, Mariia Shtyrbulova, Nazguhl Shukaiva-Hiventar, Yuliia Vitraniuk, and Diana Ziabchenko will headline “Chornobyldorf.”

“Adoration” will star Miriam Khalil, Marc Kudisch, David Adam Moore, Omar Najmi, Naomi Louisa O’Connell, Karim Sulayman,  and the Silvana Quartet. Finally, Marisa Demarco and Jeffrey Gibson star in “Malinxe.”

Additionally, the company will present the U.S. Premiere of “The Promise,” created by Wende with the Royal Court Theatre and composer Isobel Waller-Bridge.
