Light Opera of New Jersey is set o present “A Celebration of the Stage: Opera to Broadway.”

The event, which is slated for Oct. 8 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge, will feature opera and musical favorites performed by baritone Troy Cook as well as numerous rising stars including Gemma Nha, Cesar Parreño, James Conrad Smith. Karen Delavan will accompany the soloists at the piano.

Light Opera of New Jersey Executive Director Jason Tramm will be the emcee for the event.

“We are thrilled to bring this unique and exciting program to our audience,” said Tramm in an official press statement. “The pieces in this concert represent the very best of music for the stage, in both opera and Broadway, sung by some of the finest professional vocal artists.
