Italy is set to celebrate Maria Callas‘ centenary with a gala concert dedicated to the legendary soprano.

The gala will tour Italy with performances in Florence, Vicenza, and Milan and will be headlined by narrator Laura Morante. She will be accompanied by a lineup of singers that includes Olga Peretyatko, Maria José Siri, Ekaterina Bakanova, Andrea Edina Ulbrich, and Valerio Borgioni. Conductors include Beatrice Venezi who will conduct in Vicenza and Fabrizio Maria Carminati, who will conduct the Florence and Milan concerts.

The Florence concert will be held on July 23, 2023, at the Piazza della Santissima Annunziata, while the Vicenza concert will be held on Sept. 9 at the Piazza dei Signori.

Finally, the Sept. 28 concert will be held on Sept. 28 at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi
