The Royal Conservatory has unveiled its 2023-24 season. For this article, our focus will be solely on classical vocal performances.

First up is Chanticleer in concert.

Performance Date: Oct. 27, 2023 

The Los Angeles Master Chorale star in “Music to Accompany a Departure,” directed by Peter Sellars. The showcase will feature music by Schütz. 

Performance Date: Feb. 7, 2024

Students from The Glenn Gould School’s vocal program will present an opera to be determined.

Performance Date: March 20 & 22, 2024 

Mezzo-soprano Ema Nikolovska will join forces with pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin for a program of music by Schubert, Schumann, and Debussy. Nikolovska has appeared with such organizations as the Staatskapelle Berlin, Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Orchester Musikkollegium Winterthur, among others.
