Lisette Oropesa & Anthony Roth Costanzo To Appear in Hamlen-Palm Series Concerts

By David Salazar

The Hamlen-Palm Series will present three unique concert experiences for New Yorkers allowing them to watch some of the world’s greatest artists from mere feet away. The concerts, which will take place at an elegant TriBeCa loft, are produced by and benefit Classical Action, a program of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights Aids.

The first of these house concerts is set for Feb. 20, 2020. It will feature the JACK Quartet.

Then on March 2, 2020, the organization will showcase soprano Lisette Oropesa in concert. Oropesa is set to appear at the Metropolitan Opera taking on the role of Violetta in “La Traviata.”

On March 24, 2020, countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo will take the stage. Costanzo is coming off a critically acclaimed run of “Akhnaten” at the Met Opera earlier this season.

Classical Action was founded in 1993 and draws upon the talents and generosity of the classical, opera, and jazz communities to raise money and awareness for the battle against HIV / AIDS and other major illnesses.
