
Florida Grand Opera Announces Costume Sale This October
By David SalazarFlorida Grand Opera will open its costume vault for a three day sale from Oct. 9 to 11, 2026, at the company’s offices in downtown Miami.
The inventory includes professional theatrical wardrobe, vintage and antique pieces, original creations from the company’s costume atelier, and garments built for the opera stage. Merchandise is sold while supplies last, and no holds will be allowed. Alterations are available for an additional fee.
The sale opens Friday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. as an invitation only event with personal assistance for shoppers assembling costumes.
Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. is reserved for industry professionals, including theater companies and businesses, who may buy individual pieces or in bulk. Dancers and dance companies can also purchase Capezio ballroom shoes in bulk.
The sale closes Sunday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., when it is open to the public, with a selection of men’s shirts, trousers, and vintage suits and special bulk pricing.
