Gil Rose, Producer and Founder of the GRAMMY® Award-winning BMOP/sound, announced a major international expansion of its essential archive of contemporary American orchestral music.

The signature record label of the Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) has appointed Presto Music as its exclusive European retailer for physical fulfillment, trade retail, and specialized digital promotion. Additionally, with this global expansion, BMOP/sound today announced the release four world-premiere recordings: two composer-centric albums by Richard Danielpour and Eric Moe, and two digital singles by Shelley Washington and Evan Ziporyn.

BMOP/sound is widely recognized as the nation’s foremost label launched by an orchestra and is comprised almost entirely of world-premiere recordings.

With the European Market, Presto Music will assume full, exclusive responsibility for the European physical and digital distribution of BMOP/sound’s complete catalog and upcoming releases.
