Opera Forge will present its inaugural production with two semi-staged concert performances of Wagner’s complete “Die Walküre” at the Royal Academy of Music on Nov. 22 and Dec. 6, 2026.

Directed by Sir John Tomlinson and conducted by Opera Forge founder and Artistic Director Kelvin Lim, “Die Walküre” continues the company’s commitment to providing outstanding singers with the opportunity to develop, through public performance, the major dramatic roles of the Romantic repertoire.

The cast will include Mark Le Brocq (Siegmund), Sky Ingram (Sieglinde), Pauls Putniņš (Wotan), Katerina Mina (Brünnhilde), Rozanna Madylus (Fricka) and Aydan Smith (Hunding).

In a statement Lim said, “Opera Forge was founded on the belief that dramatic voices deserve time, expert guidance and, above all, opportunities to perform. I also believe the bel canto technique remains the foundation of the dramatic repertoire. Having Sir John Tomlinson direct our inaugural production is an extraordinary privilege, and I hope Opera Forge will give the next generation of dramatic singers the opportunity to develop these extraordinary roles where they matter most—in performance before an audience.”
